Hector Javier Santiago, Jr

Hector Javier Santiago, Jr, 54 of Worcester, MA, went home to heaven unexpectedly, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Hector was born in Vega Baja, PR, on August 9, 1969, a son of Hector Rafael Santiago Rodriguez and the late Felicita Garcia. Hector was raised in Worcester, where he attended school and lived for most of his life. 

Hector was an avid car enthusiast and a skilled mechanic. He also loved watching boxing and listening to music. He was a caring person with a big heart. He also loved animals, especially his dog, “Karen”. Most of all Hector received the greatest joy, spending time with his children, grandchildren and the rest of his family.

Hector leaves behind 3 sons, Joshua J. Santiago, Hector J. Santiago, Jr and Irvin J Velasquez all of Worcester; his daughter, Mileena C. Peltier of Worcester; his father, Hector Rafael Santiago Rodriguez of New Jersey; his siblings, Franky J.R. Perez, Keila Santiago, Kathia Santiago and Hector Santiago; 3 grandchildren and an expected grandson on the way, Carlos De Jesus, Jeyliani Santiago and Harmonee Santiago; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Felicita Garcia, he was also predeceased by his sister, Karen Santiago.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation and Celebration of Hector’s Life at Comfort Cremation Funeral Home, 1027 Main St., Worcester, MA. On Saturday December 2,2023 at 3pm. Friends and relatives will gather at 11am on Monday, Decemeber 4, 2023 at Comfort Cremation Funeral Home, 1027 Main St, Worcester, MA to process to Hope Cemetery for a 12pm Interment Service. Please arrive at the funeral by 11:30 to travel in procession.
