Alice Bell (née Flaherty), a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 30 2024, in Milford, Massachusetts. Born on April 27, 1947, Alice lived a life rich in love, family, and unwavering faith.
Alice's career as a court reporter in Boston courts spanned many years, during which she diligently worked to ensure that justice was accurately recorded. Her professional dedication was matched by her commitment to her education, having earned a degree in court transcription, a testament to her hard work and perseverance.
Family was the cornerstone of Alice's life. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, fostering an environment filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness. Thanksgiving was particularly special to her, as she would prepare a grand feast that brought her entire family together. This tradition became a cherished highlight of the year, a time for celebration and gratitude.
Alice was known for her sassy and strong-willed personality. She was unapologetic in expressing her feelings, a trait that those close to her admired and appreciated. Her unconditional love for her family knew no bounds, most notably reflected in the inseparable bond she shared with her daughter, Lisah Bell, who also served as Alice’s devoted caregiver.
In addition to her family life, Alice found joy in her faith. She was immensely proud of discovering her relationship with God and Jeshua/Jesus and dedicating herself to the scriptures. Her active participation in her favorite church, Times Square Church in New York, provided her with a sense of community and fulfillment.
Alice leaves behind her loving daughter Lisah Bell, her son Kerry Bell, and her cherished grandchildren: Julia Valencia-Bell, Kerry Bell Jr., and Nya Bell. Each of them will hold dear the countless memories made with her over the years.
