Allan Mark Coolong, Jr

Allan Mark Coolong, Jr., affectionately known as Mark, passed away on September 10, 2025, in Springfield, Massachusetts. Born on April 15, 1972, he was a cherished son, brother, and partner who touched the lives of many during his time with us.

From an early age, Mark displayed an impressive work ethic and dedication, beginning his career as a machinist alongside his father, Allan Coolong. This family bond not only shaped his career but also instilled in him a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and hard work. Mark’s education at Tantasqua Regional High School laid the foundation for his lifelong pursuits and passions.

Throughout his life, Mark enjoyed various activities that brought him joy, notably playing pool. This pastime was not just a hobby for Mark; it served as a way to connect with friends and family while enjoying friendly competition and laughter.

Mark is survived by his loving parents, Allan and Linda Coolong, who provided unwavering support and guidance throughout his life. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings: Alanna, Linette, Lucinda, Aaron, and Yvonne. Each shared unique moments and memories that will remain in their hearts forever. Additionally, Mark leaves behind his devoted partner, Becky Smith, who stood by his side and shared in the joys and challenges of life.

Mark's spirit and legacy will continue to resonate within the lives of those who knew and loved him. His gentle nature, coupled with his passion for life, will be missed deeply but never forgotten.
