Arlene F. Picard, age 66, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, after battling a long-time illness.

Born on November 6, 1959, Arlene was the beloved daughter of the late Francis and Joan Picard. She spent her life in Worcester, where she built strong connections with family and friends and was known for her warmth, strength, and generous spirit.

Arlene worked in retail for many years. Outside of work, she found joy in cooking and baking, and especially loved watching cooking and baking shows. She had a special fondness for unicorns, which reflected her unique and spirited personality.

Above all, Arlene was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Williams; her grandchildren, Kody Picard and his wife Rachel Picard, Roy Jr. Williams, and Kaylee Williams; her sister and best friend, Wendy Rourke; her brothers, Peter Picard and Kevin Picard; and her younger sister, Joyce Lafratta. She also leaves behind her cherished nephews, Jamie Picard and Daniel Lafratta III; her niece, Alexandra Lafratta; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Arlene was truly a spitfire. She was a woman who embodied strength and resilience. Her humor, love, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 6, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Comfort Cremations in Worcester, Massachusetts.
