Bernardo Andrea Greene, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Worcester. Born on January 20, 1960, in East Allegheny, Pennsylvania, Bernardo was the cherished son of George Greene and Hester Betts Greene. He was known for his kind heart and great sense of humor. His personality shone brightly in every aspect of his life, and he was always down for a good snack and ice cream.
Bernardo dedicated a significant portion of his life to caring for individuals with developmental disabilities in various group home settings. His compassion and empathy made him a cherished figure among those he served. In addition, he spent many years in the technology industry, where he worked as a machine repair representative, contributing his skills to the manufacturing of parts for cars and airplanes.
He is survived by his loving children: Wilkie, Briana, Bernardo Jr., Ashanti and Aniyah Greene, and Kiara Parks, as well as his step-children, Christopher, Sharkey, and Brianna Todd. Bernardo will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Asher Andrea Greene, Sekani Belgrave, Annalayah Williams, Maya Butler, and Miguel Butler, who brought him immense joy.
In addition to his children and grandchildren, Bernardo is survived by his former ex- wife, Tameo, with whom he shared many meaningful years and cherished memories. Bernardo is survived by, his nephews Darwin Betts, Trey and Justin Greene, and his beloved nieces Gracelynn and Jasmine. He also leaves behind his devoted cousin, Sara Betts Corbin. They carry forward the memories and love he shared with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Greene and Hester Betts Greene; his siblings,George, Ceasar Greene, Olivia Restos-Greene, Rodney Greene and Darius Betts; and his nephew, Rodney Greene Jr. Their memories live on through the love and values they instilled in Bernardo.
A visitation in honor of Bernardo Andrea Greene will be held on March 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Comfort Cremation, located at 1027 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
Bernardo’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his family and community will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
