(Shrewsbury, MA) Bonnie Jean (Mac Leod) Cooke passed away comfortably and peacefully in her home on the evening of November 1, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.
Bonnie was born on October 13, 1963, in Waltham, Massachusetts. She grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and was a Chelmsford High School graduate of the Class of 1981.
She was the daughter of David Weston Mac Leod Sr., who predeceased her, and Eunice (Bunny) Evelyn (von Schoppe).
She had an unwavering love for and faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. One of her passions was reaching out to and guiding people to Jesus Christ. Another one of her passions was craftwork with cross stitching, crochet, and other various crafts.
She was fully devoted to being a daughter, sister, mother, and especially a Nana to Matthew and Luke Cooke who she adored.
She is survived by her son Shayne Michael Cooke and his wife Erin Caroline, her grandsons Matthew William and Luke Jeremiah, her mother Eunice (Bunny) Mac Leod, her siblings David W. Mac Leod Jr., Heather Dejoinville and her husband Kenneth, William (Billy) Mac Leod, and Heidi Baron and her husband Stephen. She is also survived by her life partner and companion Stephen Pohl, a niece and several nephews.
Burial will be held privately for immediate family.
