Carmen Gonzalez

Carmen Gonzalez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at her home in Worcester, MA, on October 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 25, 1943, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, where she grew up before later moving to Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Carmen was known for her happy demeanor and big heart, caring deeply for everyone she met. As a dedicated homemaker, she poured her love into her family, creating a warm and nurturing environment. Her outgoing personality made her a cherished presence in the lives of those around her.

She took delight in various hobbies, including going for long rides, fishing, shopping, visiting the casino, and spending time at the ocean. These simple pleasures brought her joy and enriched her life.

Carmen is survived by her loving husband, Jose Gonzalez; her sons, Juan, and George Gonzalez; her daughters, Alice Gonzalez, Yvette Gonzalez; her grandchildren, Anthony Rivera, Aliana Rivera, and Miguel Arce; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Gloria Heredia; and brothers, Benjamin and Ursino Heredia. Additionally, she leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will remember her fondly.

She was predeceased by her father, mother & two deceased daughters. 

Her services will be held at Comfort Cremation in Worcester, starting with a visitation on November 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on November 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with burial immediately following at Hope Cemetery at 11:00 AM.

Carmen’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, leaving behind an enduring legacy of kindness, joy, and love.
