Carol Ann Wallace

Carol Ann Wallace 87 of Chicopee, Ma. , died, peacefully Saturday, May 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, on March 26, 1938, to Roland and Isabell Vacheresse. Carol was predeceased by her wife Sandra Butch, a son Rollie Wallace and sisters, Marilyn Gilchrist (Alex)  and Lois Vacheresse. She is survived by her daughter Lori, who was her primary caretaker and best friend, her daughter Lea Weaver (John), son Rick (Patti), daughter Mari Lyn Downes (Tim) her cherished sister Eileen Hood (Jimmy) , and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews both here, and back home in Nova Scotia. 

Carol worked in the hospitality industry for many years as a Banquet Manager for several hotels and restaurants in Vermont and Connecticut, following retirement she continued to stay busy as a customer service representative at Big Y. 

In her youth, she was an excellent athlete and student, she loved golfing, fishing, traveling, and was an avid reader and movie buff.
