Catherine Mae Moore (Marco), 70, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of her family.
Catherine was a devoted homemaker who found joy in caring for her home and those she loved. She had a gentle heart and a special love for her beloved cat, Marco, who brought her comfort and companionship.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John N. Moore; her parents, Pauline (Drinan) Marco and Edward F. Marco; her older brother, Edward “Tiny” Marco Jr.; and her niece, Tanya (Reil) Rodriguez.
She leaves behind her devoted son, Dwayne Marco of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, whom she loved with all her heart. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Sally Reil of Yulee, Florida; Doris Crowley of Nashua, New Hampshire; and Rosanne Di Mare and her husband, Jim, of Fernandina Beach, Florida. She is also survived by her brothers, Larry Marco of Maryland, Paul Marco of Chelsea, Massachusetts, and Tim Marco of Norfolk, Virginia. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and love.
Catherine will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and caring nature will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband, John, and the family members who went before her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
May she rest in eternal peace.
