Chris Williston

January 29, 1977 — June 5, 2024

In the town of Worcester, a beloved soul departed unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and laughter. Chris Williston, known affectionately as "Winnis," graced this world on January 29, 1977. Throughout his life, Chris worked tirelessly as a maintenance tech at Lincoln Village, dedicating many years to ensuring the comfort and safety of those around him.

Chris's warm personality shone brightly through his avid support for Boston sports teams, particularly The Bruins. His infectious sense of humor and willingness to lend a helping hand endeared him to all who crossed his path. Whether it was cheering for his favorite team or tending to a neighbor in need, Chris approached everything with unwavering compassion and generosity.

One of Chris's greatest joys was spending time at the beach with his Uncle Paul and sharing countless weekends gathered around the fire pit, creating cherished memories that will be held close by those who knew him best.

Chris took immense pride in being a loving son, brother, uncle, as well as a loyal friend. His devotion to his family was unwavering, evident in the relationships he nurtured with his father Stephen Williston, mother Linda Williston, brothers Justin Williston, Trever Williston, Brian DiMarzio, and their respective families. Among the surviving members are Justin's children Matthew, Cameron, Alyssa; Trever's son Tyler; Brian's wife Katelyn; and their children Keegan, Chloe, and Anthony. Uncle Paul Garceau, Uncle Gary Garceau, Christopher passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by his Uncle Paul Garceau, Uncle Gary Garceau, numerous cousins, and extended family members.

As we bid farewell to Chris Williston, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life marked by love, laughter, and unwavering compassion. Though he may have left this world unexpectedly, the memories he created and the hearts he touched will forever keep his spirit alive in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May his laughter echo in our memories and his kindness inspire us to carry on his legacy of selflessness and warmth. Rest in peace, dear Winnis.
