Christopher Grindle

Christopher Miles Grindle, 63, peacefully passed away on February 20, 2026, at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Born on August 29, 1962, in Hartford, Connecticut, Chris was raised by his adoptive parents, Jeanette Rumill Grindle and Miles King Grindle. He grew up in Mount Desert Island, Maine, and told stories of running wild in his youth with fondness. He was a long-time resident of Bangor, Maine, and loved the area— as long as you didn’t ask him in the days following a big snow storm. Chris worked over the years as a jack of all trades, whether that be painting, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry. He enjoyed working on cars and driving his Corvette with the top down on warm sunny days. Chris was a big fan of NASCAR, large cups of hot coffee, and stirring the pot on political social media posts for a good laugh.

Chris is survived by his three daughters, Kayla, Brianna, and Cassidy, and three grandchildren he often shared photos of. He is also survived by several biological siblings that he met in adulthood and cared for greatly. He leaves behind a loyal canine companion, Hennessy.
