Listen to Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Marie (Dufresne) Hendrickson, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left this world on January 19, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 1, 1981, in Worcester, MA, Liz grew up nurturing a spirit of warmth and kindness that touched the lives of everyone around her.

Liz served as the church secretary at Field of Dreams, where her dedication and commitment to the community made her a cherished figure among congregants. Her role allowed her to bridge generations, and her gentle nature ensured that everyone felt welcomed in her presence. Those fortunate enough to know her will always remember her infectious smile and the light she brought into their lives.

Survived by her devoted husband, Corey Hendrickson, her parents Christine and Gene Gelinas, Liz was a proud mother to seven beautiful children: Shayne, Dahmain, Paul, Zachariah, Fayth, JavanEzra, and Emma. She also leaves behind her siblings: Amanda, Melissa, Jeffery, Ericka along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Liz's connections extended beyond her immediate family (Mikey, Matt, Jeremy) but she touched the lives of many and built lasting friendships that enriched her life and the lives of those around her. Her membership at Genesis club provided countless opportunities for her to advocate for mental health awareness and support and build long lasting friendships that she carried with her until the very end.

She loved cooking and even through chemo she designed and printed a cookbook of memorable recipes. She will be remembered for her love of gaming, an avid reader, and always updating her playlist as music was a big part of her life and loved to "Dance it Out".

Liz's legacy is one of compassion and unwavering strength. Her journey may have been filled with challenges, but she faced each day with grace and dignity, inspiring all who witnessed her tenacity. She will be deeply missed—not just for her laughter and light but for the love that permeated every aspect of her life. As we celebrate her memory, let us remember the lessons she imparted and the kindness she so generously shared. Liz will always remain in our hearts, guiding us with her spirit and reminding us of the precious gift of life.
