Emilia Maldonado Otero

Emilia Maldonado Otero, 75, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 surrounded by family.

She is predeceased by her grandson Alejandro Olivencia who passed in 2017. She is survived by her two sons; Roque Ramos and Henry Ramos, a daughter; Elizabeth Rosado, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

Emilia was well known among family, friends and coworkers as a kind and generous person who loved to cook.  Her biggest joy came from having a house full of her sons, and their friends while cooking them pernil and rice.  She was affectionately known as "Ma" to so many and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. 

The family will be celebrating her memory privately. Contributions can be made in her honor to Alzheimer’s Association of America.
