James (Jim) Clark, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at his home in Rutland, Ma. Born on July 5, 1947, in Boston, Ma., Jim lived a life rich in experiences that will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and his loyal companion Gabby.

Jim was an outgoing individual who rarely met a stranger. He had a passion for travel, exploring diverse cultures and landscapes both in America and abroad. Alongside his wife, Sheila, he journeyed through the National Parks, vacationed on tropical islands and ventured to beautiful destinations including Italy, England, France, Ireland, Switzerland, Holland, Germany, Greece, and China. Among these travels, some of his fondest memories were spending time in Ogunquit, Maine, where he and Sheila cherished time together, walking the Marginal Way and going to the beach.

An avid reader and someone who enjoyed almost all movies, Jim also found joy in the simple pleasures of bird watching, hiking, gardening and golfing.

Jim’s commitment to his family extended beyond his personal interests; he took great pride in volunteering as a coach for his son and daughter's time in the PAL baseball and softball leagues. He also attended almost all events that his children and grandchildren participated in.

In addition to his beloved wife Sheila of 55 years, Jim is also survived by his children, Peter Clark and Stefani (Eric) Lowe. He was a cherished grandfather to Brianne Clark, CJ and Myra Lowe, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
