Jamie O. Sherwood 

09 27 1977 – 10 03 2022 

We are sad to announce the passing of our brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Jamie O.  Sherwood of Charlton, MA, unexpectedly, on October 3, 2022. He leaves behind his brother,  Jeremy R. Sherwood and Julie of Charlton, MA., his sister Ashley R. Sherwood of Myrtle Beach,  S.C., as well as his nieces and nephews. His parents Randy R. and Barbara Earley Sherwood both  predeceased him. He also leaves behind his Aunts and Uncles, Sandra Bond of Taylors, SC,  Vanessa L. White of Pelion, SC, Rebecca J. Stollstorff of Lexington, SC, Michelle Cormier of  West Columbia, SC, Lynn M. Morin of Southbridge, Kevin M. Earley of Oxford, Kathleen J.  Earley of Oxford, Terrance J. Earley of Oxford, Barry P. Earley of Oxford, and Jacqueline A.  Earley of Grafton as well as his many cousins and friends whom all loved him dearly. His  Grandparents Oliver R. and Jane Anderson Sherwood, Kenneth and Shirley Sandy Earley as well  as his Aunts Michelle Earley, Donna Earley Thomas and Uncle Leonard E. Sherwood, and his  dear friend, Sharon Madore, all predeceased him. 

Although Jamie’s life was tragically cut short, ironically, he had found true love at the very end  of his life and for that we are eternally grateful to Jen. Jamie lived the majority of his youth and  attended school in Oxford, MA prior to moving to Charlton. He previously worked as a cable  technician, arms manufacturing at H&R in Gardner, MA, and in landscaping. Jamie also worked  at Jim’s Christmas Tree’s in Charlton for many seasons. Jamie was an avid New England Sports  lover, particularly the New England Patriots, the Red Sox, the Celtics and the Bruins. Jamie  loved the outdoors, camping, campfires, music and spending time with friends and family. He  also caught the occasional fish. 

A memorial service burial will be at St. Roche Cemetery in Oxford with his mother at a later date  to be announced. In addition, a Celebration of Life for Jamie, outdoors with fire and music, will  be scheduled for Spring 2023, also to be announced. We thank Comfort Cremations of  Worcester, MA for their care with arrangements.
