Joan L. Brooslin

Daughter of Paul and Toby Rechtschafer of West Hartford Ct, Joan was a graduate of Longmeadow High School in Massachusetts.  She attended the University of Bridgeport to study nursing and served as an assistant in a Podiatrist Office.  Before her illness, Joan was the Vice President of  the Naismith International Basketball Foundation.  She previously was an associate with Sheldon Good Auctions, and in retail with Steigers and Paysaver in Springfield, MA. 

Joan is survived by her husband, Michael Brooslin of Chicopee, MA, and her daughter Alison Brooslin also of Chicopee.
