John Lawrence Adams, fondly known as Larry, was born on June 4, 1964, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He passed away on February 3, 2026, at Umass campus in Worcester leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and love.
Larry devoted many years of his life to his work as a long-time employee of Authur Cole, where he was respected by both colleagues and clients alike. His dedication to his career was matched only by his devotion to his family and passions outside of work.
Larry had a zest for life that was evident in his many hobbies and interests. He cherished the tranquility of fishing and found great joy in exploring estate sales and flea markets. A true supporter of his family, he delighted in attending the sporting events of his great nieces, cheering them on with infectious enthusiasm.
He is survived by his loving family, including his sisters Debra and Carolyn; his brothers Kenneth, Michael, and Jeffrey; as well as his three sons, Quinton, Joshua, and Christopher. Larry was also a grandfather to six grandchildren and cherished by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces.
Larry's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. A visitation with family will take place at Comfort Cremation, located at 1027 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603, on February 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, mother Bernice, and brother-in-law Pete. As we remember Larry, we celebrate a life well-lived and the love he shared with those around him.
