John J. Jaworski

November 19, 1951 — August 18, 2025

Upton, MA

John J. Jaworski, 73, of Upton, died peacefully at home on August 18, 2025, after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer three months prior. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Dr. Rudolf A. Jaworski and Gladys (Duda) Jaworski.

John grew up in Pawtucket, RI, and graduated from Tolman High School in 1969, where he competed on the swim team. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1974 with a bachelors degree.

In 1971, he fell in love with his future wife Nancy Wolf, and they were together ever since. They married in 1979 and soon started a family. In 1984, John’s work brought them to Upton, where they raised their three children. There, John started All Pool Service, his business, which he enjoyed running for over 30 years.

John and Nancy had many great times over the 54 years they spent together. They attended countless concerts (rock ‘n’ roll, blues, jazz), with John’s all-time favorite band being The Rolling Stones. They loved camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with their family, hiking mountains and swimming in the ice-cold rivers.

An avid sports fan, John was often found in his recliner, with his big orange cat Tommy in his lap, watching whatever sport he could find on TV. He loved the Red Sox and the Patriots, but his favorite team to root for was the Boston Celtics.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy E. Wolf of Upton, and their three children: Jeffrey Jaworski and his wife Nicole Danner of Denver, CO, Amelia McQuilkin and her husband Tye of Upton, and Alexander Wolf-Jaworski of Upton; his three siblings: Rudolf Jaworski and his wife Susan of N. Andover, Judith Mulcahey and her husband Michael of Pawtucket, RI, and James Jaworski and his wife Elizabeth of Cranston, RI. He was a very silly Dzia Dziu (Polish for Grandfather) to his two beloved grandchildren, Gloria and Clifford McQuilkin, and a loving uncle to twelve nieces and nephews.

His little giggles and kind heart will be remembered and missed forever.
