John Walter Radziewicz

John Walter Radziewicz of Chelsea, passed away on June 10, 2022. Devoted husband of 51 years to Mary Radziewicz. Loving father to daughters Christine & George LeBlanc, Lisa and Mike Tucker and Sheila and Pat Hegarty. Proud grandfather of Georgia, Evan and Raya. He began his career as a craftsman as a child with his grandfather. He worked 30 plus years in the computer industry and returned to his love of woodworking in retirement passing this passion onto his children and grandchildren.

John was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed swimming, hiking, skiing, sailing, boating, fishing, hunting and most importantly camping. He camped with his wife, children and grandchildren annually for over 40 years, making memories. Pancake breakfast, fried dough, hot dogs, hamburgers, campfires, s’mores and camper pies everyone was well fed.

John loved his grandchildren and they reveled in their time with him. They could be found working in the shop, in the kitchen making pancakes, at Salem Willows eating popcorn and taffy or reading books and watching cartoons together.

We invite you to brighten our lives in our time of grief by sharing your happiest memories of John at Maria’s Family Restaurant, Haverhill, Ma on June 22, 2022 from 6pm – 9pm, light refreshment will be served.
