June F. (Leware) Ahearn

June F. Ahearn (Leware), age 83, on March 31, 2023, passed away from complications of a stroke. She passed painlessly and peacefully.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Ahearn (originally from Paxton), and son, Richard Ahearn (Barre), plus her parents, Cecile and Frederick Leware, and step-grandmother Corinne Denis, all previously from Spencer, MA.

June left behind her sisters Susan Arsenault (Spencer) and Nancy Bullard (Leicester); her children, Lynn Howard (Paxton), Ann Ahearn-Nowicki/husband Paul Nowicki (New Braintree), George Ahearn Jr./wife Colleen (Spencer), and Roger Ahearn/wife Joyce (South Barre); and her companion Jon Eccleston (Spencer). Her great-grandchildren: Ellen Howard (Webster), Kelly Ferris/husband Kyle (Hopkinton), Ashley LaCasse/husband Josh (West Brookfield), John and Rosie Ahearn (Spencer), Morgan Ahearn (Southbridge), Meghan Vance/husband Will (Jefferson), Katherine Ahearn (Leominster), and Roger Ahearn, Jr. (South Barre), plus her 11 great-grandchildren.

This lady loved to socialize with friends and family at many places and events through the years. Barre Sportsman Club was one of the favorite places she and her husband were part of. They both loved going to Rangeley, Maine with their children. She will be missed by many.

Family will have a private graveside service to be announced.
