Kerry Dee Sullivan, beloved mother, grandmother, educator, and friend, passed away on September 26, 2026 after courageous battles with cancer and multiple sclerosis.

She was an extraordinarily smart, loving, kind, and thoughtful woman who had a remarkable way of making everyone she met feel like a friend. She had a quick wit and brought laughter to those around her, even during difficult times. Perhaps one of her greatest gifts was her ability to listen. She was always willing to lend a friendly ear, offer encouragement, or simply be there for someone who needed her.

She carried that same compassion into her work as a middle and high school paraprofessional. She loved helping her students and took great joy in watching them learn, grow, and succeed. Helping young people was something she genuinely loved.

Family held a special place in her life. She was the wife of Kevin and the mother of Kelly, Kristopher, and Korey. She shared an especially close bond with her daughters, Kelly and Korey, and welcomed their husbands, Bob and Andrew, into her heart, loving them as though they were her own sons. Her beloved granddaughters, Cora and Riley, were among the greatest joys of her life. She leaves behind her beloved sister Donna Glynn Nelson as well as many sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her parents Russell and Cora Glynn as well as her brother Russell Glynn Jr.

She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, laughter, friendship, and love. Those fortunate enough to have known her will remember the way she made people feel heard, cared for, and welcome, and her family will carry her love, her humor, and her memory with them always.

She is deeply missed and forever loved. To respect her wishes, no services will be held. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center for the care and love provided, especially nurses Karen and Jimmy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center activities fund or the Sterling Animal Shelter in her memory.
