Kerry Raymond Taylor

Kerry Raymond Taylor "Jerry/Felicia", aged 69, formerly of West Springfield, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born August 21, 1956 to parents James and Janet (Chapin) Taylor in Springfield, MA. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan Douglas-Taylor, two daughters: Julie (David); and Emily; three sons: Jack (Stephanie); Ryan (Samantha), and Adam; and step-daughter, Alison. His grandchildren Landyn, Delilah, Cruz, Hayden, Charli, Colson, and Colbie. His loving siblings Kimmy and his wife Casey, and Jamie, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and his cat Shooki. He is predeceased by his parents James and Janet, his loving son Joshua, his brother Kenny and brother-in-law George. He spent his youth in Huntington Beach, CA, where he loved to surf, work on cars and spend time at the lake with family. He moved back to Massachusetts, where he raised his family. He loved watching his children play sports, and he held many titles, but his most prized title was grandpa. He adored his grandchildren and the light they brought into his life. Those who were lucky enough to know Kerry knew him to be a hard working, resilient, sarcastic jokester, who despite all his many battles, fought until the very end. He will be greatly missed. The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life in his honor. In lieu of flowers, Kerry would've loved nothing more than to have everyone raise a glass in his honor.  "Wow!"
