Lev Shvarts

On Monday, February 13^th, 2023, Lev Shvarts, a beloved husband and father to two children, passed away at the age of 69.

Lev was born on October 27^th, 1953 in Dubrovytsia, Ukraine to Miron Portnov and Stisya Shvarts. He, along with his spouse, Valentina Shvarts, and their two children, Dmitriy and Mia, emigrated Ukraine on November 21^st, 2000, and settled in Brookline, MA.

Lev had compassion for people. His generosity filled the hearts of many who were lucky to know him. Though quiet, reserved, and humble in character, he loved to joke around even in dire times. He brought laughter to every room he was in, and to every person he was acquainted with. He indeed was a sensible human being.

Lev was preceded in death by his father, Miron, and his mother, Stisya. He is survived by his spouse Valentina, his two children, Dmitriy and Mia, his granddaughter Julia, his sister Ella, and his nephew Ronald.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 20^th, 2023 at Comfort Cremation on 1027 Main Street in Worcester at 12 o’clock PM.
