Lorri Ann Draleau

September 3, 1964 — May 13, 2024

Barre, MA

Lorri Ann Draleau, born on September 3, 1964, in Leominster, MA, left this world suddenly on May 13, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter sister, and friend. Lorri was known for her wit, compassion, great sense of humor, and selflessness. Her infectious laughter and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She found joy in the simple things - making her cherished Christmas cookies every year and preparing family's treasured recipes. The love she poured into her cooking was surpassed only by the love she had for those around her.

A lover of flowers, gardens, and birds, Lorri found solace and beauty in nature's wonders. Her hobbies included collecting recipes, trying out different cuisines both at home and out dining with loved ones. She particularly enjoyed spending time with family and watching baseball games featuring her favorite team - the Red Sox. Her laughter resonated through their shared moments watching "Days of Our Lives", late night movies with her husband and cooking shows with her daughter.

In her passing, Lorri leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be forever cherished by her surviving family: her husband Dennis Riley Sr., daughter Erin Draleau, son Dennis Riley Jr., grandsons Clayton Draleau and Jacob Riley; as well as her sisters Sue Breault and Gerri Bouvier; brother Ernest Draleau; nephew Seth Cochran; along with many other family members and friends who meant so much to her.

She is now reunited with her mother Rita Devarney, father Gerald Draleau, brother Richard Draleau, sisters Dianne Gary, Patti Cochran, Joann Draleau who have gone before her. Lorri's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

May she rest in peace surrounded by the eternal beauty she so admired during her time on this earth.

A celebration of life will be announced soon.
