Luis A. Bigio Delgado

July 21, 1965 — November 8, 2021

Luis A. Bigio Delgado, 56, of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully on  Monday, November 8, 2021, at UMass Hospital University Campus in Worcester, with his loving family by his side, after a brief period of declining health. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Wanda I. Morales.

Luis is also survived by 3 children, Diana C. Bigio, Jessica M. Bigio and Alexis J. Bigio; 5 siblings, Laura Bigio, Iris Nelly Bigio, Elena Lebron, Coraly Bigio and Luis J. Bigio and many nieces and nephews.

Luis was born on July 21, 1965 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a son of Justo Bigio and Laura Delgado. He was raised in San Juan, where he completed high school and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Programmer and Designer. After marrying the love of his life Wanda I. Morales; they eventually settled in the beautiful southwestern coastal city of Lajas, Puerto Rico, where they lived for many years before moving to Worcester, MA in 2009.

Luis had many passions in life including working on computers and building model classic cars. He also loved music and spent time as a D.J. playing his favorite songs from the 80’s and Disco eras as well as latin and salsa music. Luis was a humble man and enjoyed observing the crowd rather than being the center of attention. However, those who had a chance to get to know him, remember his great sense of humor. Luis was a great friend, cousin, uncle, son, brother, husband and father and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
