Luz Milagros Otero

Luz Milagros Otero (“Lucy”), born on February 4, 1974, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, passed away on February 9, 2026.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Moises Otero; her three children, Moises Jr., Josue, and Jacquelyn; and her nine beloved grandchildren, Malakii, Julian, Tyberius, Sebastian, Octavius, Jerimiah, Joah, Jericho, and Talaia. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Victoria and Rendi; her grandmother, Lydia (“Mita”), who lovingly raised her; her siblings, Exel, Nelson (“Junito”), and Virgen (“Vee”); as well as many uncles, aunts, extended family members, and dear friends who loved her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Josefa (“Tata”).

Lucy leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew her. Those who knew her will forever remember her warmth, her kindness, her nurturing spirit, her playful sarcasm, and her sassy, spirited personality. This is not goodbye, but a heartfelt farewell to a wonderful woman who touched so many lives.
