Marcus Augustine Almanza

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marcus A. Almanza, age 53, who left us on October 11, 2025. Born on November 9, 1971, in East Chicago, Indiana, Marcus was the beloved son of the late Elia and Augustine Almanza. He graduated from East Chicago Central High School and carried lifelong pride in his East Chicago roots and vibrant family heritage.

Marcus is survived by his cherished daughter, Aviana Elia Almanza, and his siblings: James Almanza, Janice Almanza Cornier, Julie Almanza Campos, Maria Almanza Rodriguez, and Patricia Almanza Galvan. He was a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
