Mark Stephen Powell, of Princeton, MA, passed away peacefully on 7/5/2024 at the age of 65. Born on 4/6/1959, Mark was known for his easy-going style, big heart, and dry sense of humor. He brought joy to many with his love for fishing, reading, and playing the harmonica, and he cherished every moment spent with his family.

For over 30 years, Mark was the co-owner of Frontline Network Systems with his best friend Ken Johnston. His work took him overseas often, and he developed a passion for traveling. Mark loved spending time with his family and friends, always bringing laughter and warmth to any gathering.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Wendy Powell of Princeton. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul Powell and Rita Powell. He leaves behind his children: Abigail Szydlowski and her husband Dave of Stoneham, Virgilio Powell of Princeton, Joshua Powell of Worcester, and Christopher Powell of Princeton. He is also survived by his stepchildren: Megan Ray of Winchendon, and Jason Ballard and his wife Cassandra of Winchendon.

Mark was a proud grandfather to Ryan, Jimmy, and Erik Szydlowski, and Benjamin Ballard. He is also survived by his two sisters, Deborah Powell and her partner Rick Hamlin, and Denise McShera and her spouse Ricky, along with seven nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

Mark's striking blue eyes and infectious sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service for immediate family and friends will be held at a later date to be determined.
