Mary K Bjorndal

Mary K (O’Gorman) Bjorndal, 79, died peacefully April 26, 2026 surrounded by family. 

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Michael. Her children, Michael of Worcester, Tracy and her husband Andrew of Millbury and Erin of Westborough. She leaves her grandsons, Mario and Dominic of Millbury who knew her as Nana. Mary also leaves her sister, Peggy Army of Grafton and extended family in Massachusetts, Maine, North Carolina and Florida. Mary was predeceased by her mother Margaret (Nugent) O’Gorman and 11 brothers and sisters.

Mary was employed by Glavin Regional Center in Shrewsbury for over 30 years.

Mary was silly and funny and loved singing, dancing, reading, gardening, crossword puzzles and solitaire. She was known for her outgoing personality and infectious laugh.

Mary’s family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice for their love and care of Mary especially Micheline and Kerrie.

Mary will be missed by all who loved her. She is with God and many family and friends who went before her. “For you are dust and to dust you shall return”. (Genesis 3:19)

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
