It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Massimo Antonio Ulisse, 77, of Grafton, MA, passed away on March 7, 2024 at home surrounded by his wife and children after a courageous battle with cancer.

Massimo was born in Rome, Italy on October 23rd, 1946 to the late Cesare and Paola Ulisse. He grew up in Rome and moved to the United States, when he was 25 years old. His eye for beauty led him to a career as an interior decorator. He had a passion for good food, wine, dancing, and trips to his favorite beach in Ipswich. He delighted in cooking, but his greatest joy was his family.  He deeply loved his wife, Sandra, of 29 years with whom he shared a beautiful life. He was a proud and devoted father, cherished Nonno and beloved brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed and remembered for the kindness and love he bestowed upon his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Ulisse of Grafton, MA, his 3 children, Joselyn Abernethy of Cape Elizabeth, ME and her husband Dr. Abraham Abernethy, Johanna Cortez, of North Attleboro, MA and her long time partner, Lance McLean and Jose Cortez of Salem, MA and his wife Brenna Cortez. He leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Adrian Abernethy, Sydney Abernethy, Lorenzo McLean and Carmelo McLean.
