Michael Martell Sr.

Born on January 23, 1972, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, lost his Long Battle with Cancer. He was a loving Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend who touched the lives of many people throughout his life.

Michael previously worked as a Service Technician for Westernans Food and Restaurant Equipment for many years. He loved sports and was a devoted Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He also loved the outdoors, especially camping, sitting around a campfire, and spending time fishing.

The ocean held a special place in Michael’s heart. He loved being by the ocean and enjoyed fishing there. He also loved spending time at North Pond in Maine, where he enjoyed days fishing and enjoying the outdoors

Michael was predeceased by his mother, Patricia LaForest; his uncle, Raymond LaForest; his aunt, Marie Dione (LaForest); and his sister, Christine Estrada (O'Hare/Gain).

He is survived by his son, Michael Martel Jr., of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, whom he loved with more than anything in this Universe. His siblings Kimberly Chappelle, Denise O'Hare, David Gain, Philip Gain,and his uncle Philip Sr. LaForest.

Michael was also deeply loved by Tim Ponusky, his wife Amanda Ponusky, and their daughter Quinn-Lynne Ponusky. They were more than close friends to Mike—they were his family and were there for him throughout his life.

Michael will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
