Nelson Christopher MIles

Nelson Christopher MIles, born on April 10, 1964, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on July 27, 2026, at Umass Memorial Hospital. His departure leaves a profound sense of loss for all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will be cherished always.

Nelson’s journey began with an education at Tri County Tech, where he fostered the knowledge and skills that later defined his professional life. He held the position of Supervisor at Dow Chemicals, dedicating himself to his work with diligence and integrity. Nelson was respected by his colleagues for his steadfast leadership and his ability to provide guidance and encouragement to those around him.

Beyond his career, Nelson possessed a vibrant enthusiasm for life and a host of interests that enriched every day. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, always eager to explore the beautiful landscapes of New Hampshire. His passion for working on cars demonstrated his resourcefulness and patience, while his fondness for attending fairs spoke to his love of community and tradition. Nelson also cherished his pets, whose loyalty and companionship brought him great happiness. His fascination with history added depth to his conversations and reflected his natural curiosity and appreciation for the world’s stories.

Above all, Nelson was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Heather Miles, who was his steadfast partner and confidante. His loving presence endures in his sister, Cathy Miles and partner Marcel, his nieces Callie and Catrina Miles. Roger Lasalle, spouse of Catrina, also shares in the remembrance of Nelson’s life and legacy. He was a proud and supportive father to his nephews that he loved like his own sons, Dakota Bloodworth and Miles Bloodworth. He also leaves Callie's children Bradley Menard, Gia Plante and Lincoln Plante.

Nelson is reunited in peace with those who preceded him in death: his sisters, Lori Miles and Linda Miles, as well as his parents, Anne and George Miles. 

Nelson Christopher MIles will be remembered as a man of unwavering character, genuine warmth, and a generosity that touched all fortunate enough to cross his path. His passion for nature, his commitment to family, and his interest for discovery have left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew and loved him. As family and friends gather to honor Nelson, they will celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the meaningful legacy he leaves behind.
