Paula Frances Nichols

Paula was born on September 30, 1960, in Worcester, MA, to the proud parents Richard E. Wood and Hedwig V. (Dziewictin) Wood. She graduated from Doherty High School in Worcester and went on to work for Bonardi’s Formal Wear for many years as a presser, showcasing her dedication and skill in her career.

Outside of work, Paula found joy and solace in various hobbies and interests. She had a passion for sewing, adored animals – especially her dogs, found peace in gardening, enjoyed watching hallmark movies, loved organizing garage sales, and shared a special bond with her late husband when they set up booths together at flea markets to sell items.

Paula will be dearly missed by her surviving family members: her sons Michael Bartkiewicz of Worcester and Paul Green of Florida; stepson Donald Nichols Jr. and his wife April of Millbury, MA; brother Richard Wood of Barre, MA; sister Susan Petterson and her husband Eric of Virginia; brother-in-law Gary Black; brother-in-law Joey Nichols and his wife Michelle; as well as 2 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Donald R. Nichols Sr.

A visitation service to honor and remember Paula’s life will take place on March 7th, 2024 at Comfort Cremation in Worcester, MA. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects between 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on that day.

In Paula’s memory, let us hold dear the moments shared with her and celebrate the vibrant life she lived. May she rest in peace knowing she was cherished by those whose lives she touched.
