Richard A. Mossa Sr. 87 Spencer - Richie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in the care of his daughter Denise, his niece Joan White and the JHC Hospice Care Team. Richie was born on Aug. 7, 1938 in Worcester, MA, son of George and Bernedett (Fields) Mossa. He spent his time as a mechanic, working on diesel trucks for Sweet Life Fleet Maintenance. Rich was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 170. He loved bowling, NASCAR, hanging out at Moroney Body Works Inc, scrapping metal, and dining out at his favorite restaurants with his family and friends. His first wife Beverly (Paradise) Mossa preceded him in 2002. Their loving children includes two daughters, Charlene Santana and her husband Felix of Spencer, Denise Draeger and her husband Dean of Winchendon, and a son Richard Mossa Jr. of Maine. Five grandsons; Dana and Jeremy Draeger of Winchendon, Jake Draeger and his wife Brianna of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Cory and Cody Santana of Spencer and one Great-Grandson Jackson Draeger of Winchendon. Rich leaves a sister Phyllis LaVallee of Oxford, and a brother Eugene along with his wife Lois of Douglas. Prior to his passing, his second wife Mary Lou (Eccleston) Mossa preceded him in 2018. From 2020 on, Richie spent his time with Catherine Auger of Spencer. A celebration of life and ashes memorial will be held privately at a later date.
