Shari Menjivar passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose spirit filled every room she entered.
Shari is survived by her daughter Carmen and her husband Paul, and their six children; her son Ignacio and his wife Madison, and their two children; her son Kevin and his wife Cara, and their three children, with whom she cherished a deeply meaningful reconnection in recent years; and her biological daughter Joyce and her husband Dave, and their two children. She also shared an irreplaceable bond with her nieces and nephews from her late sister Lori, who held a special place in her heart.
Shari loved nothing more than spending time with her family—whether swapping stories around the table, visiting with her grandchildren, or housesitting her beloved “grand-dogs,” Salem and Thor. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lifelong memories.
Shari lived life on her own terms. She didn’t play by the rules, and she made sure everyone knew it. Her boldness, humor, and authenticity will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that Shari’s spirit—free, fierce, and full of love—will continue to guide them always.
Shari's family invites you to a celebration of life in her honor on Friday October 17, 2025 from 4:30-6:30pm at Polcari's in Saugus MA. We kindly ask that condolences are kept brief and casual to ensure all guests may pay their respects. Light refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that you come with a happy memory of Shari or make a charitable donation to the American Cancer Society.
