Terrence Robert Patrick Sullivan

Terrence (“Terry”) Robert Patrick Sullivan, age 68, of Dudley, MA, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Terry was born on February 16, 1957, to Virginia Mae (Kirby) and Joseph Leo Sullivan II. He grew up in Natick, MA, along with his fourteen beloved brothers and sisters. It was in Natick that he met and fell in love with his wife, Maureen. Together they made a home in Dudley, MA, where they raised their four children.

Terry will be remembered for many things, but most of all for his friendliness, his jokes, and his laugh. He made a friend everywhere he went and always had a joke ready for any occasion.

Professionally, Terry was a talented painter. He was seldom without a splatter of paint on his flannel after a day’s work at one of his many repeat customers’ homes. In his personal life, Terry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and friend. He was proud to be a Sullivan and spent time with his brothers, sisters, and their families whenever he could.

Terry loved music and was rarely without a song playing in the background. He loved Cape Cod, B.B. King, the Allman Brothers, antique cars, and playing games like Yahtzee, Scrabble, and Sudoku.

But most of all, Terry loved being a husband, a father, and a Grampy. You couldn’t spend time with him without getting an update on one of his kids or hearing a funny story about something one of the grandkids said. He was beloved in both the town where he grew up, Natick, and the one he would call home, Dudley. He was one of a kind—a true original—and he will be deeply missed.

Terry is survived by his wife, Maureen; his children, Joanna, Patrick (Kayla), Robert (Kristy), and Mary (Gio); and his grandchildren, Rose, Fiona, Rye, Stevie, Lainey, and Henry. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Joe, Richie, Jeannie, Kevin, Michael, Steve, Mai, Tommy, Neal, Patty, Kathleen, Maureen, Brian, and Eileen, and their families.
