Timothy Scott Wohlhueter

September 11, 1961 — September 16, 2024

Wales, MA

Tim Wohlhueter, beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend, passed peacefully at home in Wales, Massachusetts in the early hours of September 16. He is at peace. Tim loved coffee, cannoli, hiking, music festivals, dogs, especially Huckleberry, family and friends. Tim has always loved being outside. He worked at Old Sturbridge Village, graduated from the North Bennett Street School Preservation Carpentry program, and later owned his own business Squaw Hollow Restoration and restored many historic buildings and barns.

Tim was loved and will be remembered and greatly missed by his wife Stacia Caplanson, son Ben Wohlhueter, sister Leslie Forte, brother Glenn Wohlhueter, “nephew” Link Diwan, and many family members and friends. May his memory be a blessing.

In his honor, get off your phone and enjoy the sunshine, eat good food, read a book, listen to music, do good, and hug someone TODAY. Live your life fully every day.

We will hold a celebration of Tim's life in October.

We are grateful for the love and support of everyone in the greater community who helped us to care for Tim including those at UMass Memorial University Campus, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Overlook Hospice, especially Dr. Cataltepe, Dr. Cachia, Dr Rava, Dr. Bi, and especially Renee, Cherrie and Divine who cared for him at home.
