Waldestrudis "Wally" Franceschi

Waldestrudis "Wally" Franceschi, born on March 30, 1968, in Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on December 12, 2025, in the same city he called home. Wally's life was one filled with cherished moments, unwavering kindness, and a profound love for his family and friends.

Wally was happiest when fishing, a pursuit he shared fondly with his nephews and nieces, creating lasting memories on the water. His affinity for the outdoors was matched only by his devotion to his beloved dog, Nala, and the joy he found in spending time with his family. He was known for his generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying the true essence of camaraderie and support.

He is survived by his loving family, which includes his sisters, Brenda Montalvo of Worcester, Massachusetts, and Wanda Franceschi of Boston, Massachusetts; his brothers, Antonio Guzman and Ariel Guzman, both of Worcester, Massachusetts; his two daughters, Julia and Silvia; and his life partner, Jean Houle. Wally also held a special place in his heart for his aunt, Blanca Lugo, who he cherished like a second mother. In addition, he leaves behind a multitude of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins who will remember him fondly.

Wally was predeceased by his mother, Silvia Franceschi, and his sister, Sandra Bottom. Their memories will continue to live on through the legacy of kindness, love, and joy that Wally imparted to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
