Walter Gonzalez Cruz

Walter Gonzalez Cruz, passed away on July 9, 2024, in Worcester, MA at Saint Vincent Hospital. 

Walter was born on August 25, 1951, in San Juan, Puerto Rico a son of the late Eladio Gonzalez and Maria Cruz. He was raised in Puerto Rico, where he attended school. He later moved to Worcester in 1985 and dedicated many years to working as a printing machine operator at Norton and Saint Gobain Companies before retiring

 Throughout his life, he exhibited a strong work ethic and a passion for fixing things around the house. He loved fast cars and also enjoyed working on them and driving them. However, his greatest joy came from spending quality moments at home with his family and his beloved dog "Charlie."

He is survived by his loving wife, Eva Roman; children, Walter Gonzalez Jr., Idalis Gonzalez, and Franly Gonzalez; sister Isa Gonzalez; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his daughter, Brenda Gonzalez, and four brothers.

Walter Gonzalez Cruz will be remembered for his hard work, and dedication to his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
